The Honourable Minister Ribanataake Tiwau acknowledged his MFOR team for their unparalleled contributions to the production of the 1st MFOR Annual Report 2024. This report was purely authored and graphically designed 100% by our local MFOR staff. This demonstrated a caliber of MFOR team and the very professional skills they possess. This MFOR Annual Report 2024 was tabled at Parliament’s session today for the reference information of the Honourable Members of Parliament, which represents the people of Kiribati. This report provides a comprehensive account of the responsibilities, projects, achievements, challenges as well as future priorities of the MFOR, implemented and planned during the one-year journey of 2024. It should provide the basic information and briefing to potential investors, existing development partners, journalists, researchers, students and the people of Kiribati who are the resource owners of the vast ocean of Kiribati. This is an effort to be transparent and accountable to the public in terms of the responsibilities and resources MFOR is entrusted with, to execute on behalf of the people of Kiribati. The MFOR conveyed sincere thanks to our partners for their engagements with Kiribati and their financial support towards the successful completion of this MFOR Annual Report 2024.
