Strengthening Laboratory Measurement and Calibration Capacity

The Seafood Toxicology Laboratory conducted in-house training to relevant stakeholders, including MFOR, CPPL and KFL, on humidity, measurement uncertainty, temperature measurement and calibration on 20 and 28 August 2026.
The training followed specialised training undertaken at the Measurement Standards Laboratory in New Zealand. It provided an opportunity to share knowledge and update colleagues on current measurement and calibration practices to ensure accurate and consistent temperature measurements and enable the provision of on-site technical support and troubleshooting when needed.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources sincerely acknowledges the World Bank through Pacific Regional Ocean Programme and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) through Tobwaan Waara for their valuable support.
