Keeping Kiribati Seafood Export-Ready!

As the number of vessels listed for international export in Kiribati continues to grow, our Competent Authority (CA) officers are keeping up with vessel inspections to ensure compliance with food safety standards and international market requirements.

When a vessel is due for inspection, inspectors travel to the port where the vessel is berthed. This week, Maribo 65 berthed in Kiritimati, where it was boarded and inspected by two CA officers.

Special thanks to the Maribo 65 team for their support and coordination in making this inspection a success.
