FSMA Workshop Aims to Boost Domestic Tuna Development Across PNA Countries

The FSMA is an arrangement designed to assist PNA countries to develop their domestic fisheries and increase participation in the tuna industry. The two-day workshop, held at Tanoa Hotel from 3-4 May 2025, is attended by PNA officials to discuss issues and challenges related to the arrangement. The outcome of the discussions would see the arrangement more meaningful to the Parties in bringing more benefits and expediting the domestication of tuna in their respective countries. Kiribati, throught MFOR recognises the importance of this workshop and thanks the PNA Office for arranging the workshop.
