The Parties to the Nauru Agreement Legal Working Group Workshop commenced this week from 28th April to 2nd May 2025 at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi, Fiji. This is the second Legal Working Group workshop bringing together legal experts from the PNA member countries to review legal matters pertaining to the PNA operations. The significance of this workshop is to bridge existing gaps in the PNA frameworks and set the rules right to avoid confusion by the Parties to ensure they sing together to implement their decisions and are on track with their vision. Kiribati acknowledges the importance of the workshop and the continue support and funding arrangements from the PNA Office to make this workshop a success.
